Our Mission

  • Provide teachers/leaders with the skills and equipment using amateur radio as a tool to enhance reading, writing, science, technology, engineering, math, geography, communication skills, and provide fun in the learning process 
  • Promote Amateur Radio with local organizations that support education for youth 
  • Form a partnership among schools, other local organizations, parents, and amateur radio organizations that would benefit the students within local communities

Our Vision

  • Provide teachers/leaders with training opportunities in Amateur Radio for the purpose of achieving the additional skills to educate students to meet global competitiveness in reading, writing, science, technology, engineering, math, and communications skills
  • Provide students with Electronic kits, Amateur Radio maps, log books, small kits to build
  • Help students learn about electronics and radio communication techniques
  • Provide and develop an interest and proficiency in the use of amateur radio for the student and in obtaining an Amateur Radio license
  • Provide some financial costs for related outings to students and parents
  • Provide financial assistance to teachers/leaders, so they don’t have to use out of pocket money for amateur radio related materials
  • Volunteer (mentors) assistance as needed in a classroom setting
  • Provide amateur radio equipment and other necessities to teachers/leaders in school districts or other local organizations during the year
  • Promote community wide understanding of amateur radio communications
  • Provide assistance through donations for loaner equipment for student use
  • Provide opportunities for students to meet and talk with other amateur radio operators
  • Have fun with amateur radio while talking around the world
